Actions

Multiattack. The Br'ooze can make 2 Hard Shot attacks.   Hard Shot. Melee Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (3d6 + 7) bludgeoning damage. On a successful hit, target must make a CON save DC 11. If failed, the target is dazed and moves slowly subtracting -1 to DEX ability score for the next 1d4 rounds. Once effected by Hard Shot, the target is immune to its dazing effect for 24 hours.

Reactions

Liquid Courage. As a reaction the Br'ooze can use Liquid Courage to increase its attack range and damage. Attack range doubles for melee attacks, and 1d6 is added to the attack damage for the next 10 mins. This ability can only be used once per long rest.

Lair Actions

Devil's Cut. If the Br'ooze is grappled or is touched by an enemy while in its tavern, it can inflict the Devil's Cut. Allowing parts of its liquids to escape through the pores of the cask's wood, the Br'ooze uses its droplets to cause razor like cuts on its enemy's exposed skin. The target must make a DEX saving throw of 11. On a failed saved, the target takes 24 points of Slashing Damage. On a successful save, the target takes half the damage.   Angel's Share. While in its tavern, the Br'ooze can allow a small portion of its liquids to evaporate into the air around it. Any creature with 10 ft. of the Br'ooze must make a CON saving throw DC 11 to avoid its vapors. On a failed save the creature is Confused and all Perception checks are done at disadvantage for the next 10 minutes.

In a world filled with bandits, mercenaries and hired muscle, every tavern owner needs a good deterrent to avoid a scene in their fine establishments. This is exactly what a wizard turned barkeep thought when he first opened his doors. Having been thrown out of his share of taverns (as well as having to deal with his fair share of roughiants), Dalmar the Delussionist knew security would be a top priority at his soon to be open business, Loosey’s Place. Late into evening just 2 days before the grand opening, Dalmar in his drunken state of genius had the idea to create golems out of the empty casks lying about. For what better to escort his unwelcoming patrons, then the barrels they just consumed. However Dalmar was not of perfect 20/20 vision in his current state and cast his magic on a cask filled with a very expensive whiskey. The arcane waves rippled through the barrel and infused with the liquid inside creating the first alcoholic construct, the Br’ooze.

A Solid Defense. The Br’ooze acts as the perfect bouncer within its tavern, practically invisible until it is needed. It stays perfectly still within its cask until the first sign of trouble. When awakened the Br’ooze bursts from its cask, using it as an armor, and takes on the semblance of a humanoid ooze creature ready to take a shot at anyone unwanted within the establishment.
