The Varghast is a formidable and terrifying creature, a blend of bestial ferocity and supernatural menace. It lurks in dark, dense forests and abandoned ruins, preying on any creature unfortunate enough to cross its path. The Varghast has a muscular build, covered in dark, coarse fur that seems to absorb light. Its eyes glow with a malevolent red hue, and its claws are razor-sharp, capable of rending flesh and armor with ease.
Diet: Carnivorous, they hunt large game and are known to attack humanoids. They are scavengers and will consume carrion if fresh meat is scarce.
Behavior: Varghasts are highly territorial and aggressive. They mark their territory with claw marks and the remains of their prey. They are nocturnal hunters, using their keen senses to track and ambush prey under the cover of darkness.
Social Structure: Varghasts are generally solitary creatures, but during mating season, males may compete violently for females. Mothers are fiercely protective of their young until they reach maturity.
