Despite often being looked down upon, if not outright persecuted, by the more popular religions of the Domains of Dread, the brothers & sisters of Hala believe that it is their duty to use their gifts of healing & medicine to alleviate suffering. To this end, they often sequester themselves in remote locations to conduct their research into rare herbs or unconventional magic. While this solitude can lead to breakthroughs in their studies, it can also make them vulnerable to the variety of monsters that plague the wilds of Ravenloft.
