Overview & Creation

Glyph Scribes can write invisible spells into surfaces to be triggered by different actions.

Class Features

Divine Touch: At 1st level, a Glyph Scribe may choose one Cleric Domain and substitute one Wizard/Sorcerer spell for one Cleric spell of the same level and in that Domain. At 3rd level and every 2 levels after, 1 known Wizard/Sorcerer spell may be replaced by 1 unknown Cleric spell of the same level and in your chosen Domain.   Arcane Cancellation: At 1st level, a Glyph Scribe may decide to negate an incoming magical attack by triggering a Glyph as an Immediate Action. When a Glyph is triggered in this way, all effects activate as normal, but any Magic in a 5 foot radius is disrupted and treated as though exposed to Dispel Magic, Lesser (dispel check is 1d20 + CL + 1). At 3rd level, the range is increased to a 10 foot radius, the caster can now activate this as an Immediate Action at any time, and the dispel check is now (1d20 + CL + X, where X = Spells within Glyph). At 7th level, the range is increased to a 15 foot radius, affected magic is treated as though exposed to Dispel Magic, and the caster can target individual beings or items up to a maximum of 2 + INT modifier (max 7).   Spell Stitching: At 1st level, you are able to cast an empty Glyph onto any surface as a Standard Action, then both fill it with a spell you know and set a trigger as a Swift Action. At 4th level and every 4 levels after, you gain the ability to add another known spell to the Glyph as a Standard Action (max 6). All Attack rolls are made in one roll (add CL + X (X = Spells within Glyph)). All Damage rolls are made in one roll (CL + X*2 (X = Median damage of each spell added together; use appropriate damage for any individual spells enhanced with Metamagic)). Spells can be enhanced with a Metamagic Feat before being added to a Glyph. You may dispel the Glyph at any time as a Free Action.

Spellcasting

A Glyph Scribe casts spells from the Wizard/Sorcerer spell list. Glyph Scribes do not need to prepare their spells ahead of time, but can not cast them directly. Spells Known and Spell Slots per level follow the standard Wizard table.
