2nd level (3 slots): healing spirit, lesser restoration, pass without trace
3rd level (3 slots): catnap, create food & water

Whie the caretaker is on the same plane of existence as its master, it can magically convey what it senses to its master, & the two can communicate telepathically with eachother.

Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 16 (3d8+3) bludgeoning damage.
Calming Mist (Recharge 5-6)
The caretaker releases a calming gas in a 35-foot-raduis sphere centered on itself. Each creature that requires air to breath must make a Charisma saving throw (DC17). On a success, the creature's speed is halved, & has disadvantage on ability checks, attack rolls, & saving throws for the next minute. If the creature has the Barbarian class, then its rage ends regardless of a success or a failure unless the creature got a natural 20 on the charisma saving throw. On a failure, the creature is charmed by the caretaker for 1 minute. While charmed in this way, the creature is incapacitated & has all of its speeds reduced to 0.

These constructs are Metallic Peacekeepers that have been modified & upgraded by their creators to take care of something or someone for whatever reason needed. Whether it be the dragon's lair or a creature the dragon rescued from danger or the dragon's eggs or anything else.
