If the knight enters the area of an antimagic field or is targeted by a dispel magic the knight explodes with the force of a fireball.

Actions

Flaming Greatsword. Melee Weapon Attack: + 5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit 6(2D6) slashing damage plus 3(1D6) fire damage.

"Out from the dust of the battlefield, we saw a knight dressed in blackened armor that seemed to belch smoke like an ill kept fire, and when I went to strike it with my sword it burned my hand to the bone. I fled that day from the battlefield, and I pray none meet with those armored demons of fire and smoke."-Account of a Furnace Knight Attack   Standing at a little taller than a man, the furnace knight is shelled in armor blackened by the constant smoke that belches from beneath the armor plates. Shelled is truly the correct description, for a furnace knight is not a man but an elemental of fire bound inside a shell of armor. Some are bound by evil mages, but most furnace knight are actually elementals that have taken oaths of binding to serve a dark master willingly.

Suggested Environments

A furnace knight is often employed by evil wizards or other spellcasters who have access to the elemental powers. However they are very rarely seen in the daily company of these mages due to their Immolating Atmosphere having an ill effect on spells and scrolls. They are mostly used for emergencies or great conflicts..   In the Primum Domum most furnace knights are servants of the eternal flame, and generally guard the prophets of the flame. The prophets popularized the taking of oaths of binding amongst their fellow elementals by declaring that it would allow one to most effectively serve the flame and seek the lost prince of flame. Thus few true flame elementals exist, instead most have become these enslaved suits of armor.
