Actions

Multiattack. The Vassal makes two attacks with either its Dark Light Beam or its Corruptive Presence.

Corruptive Presence. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10 ft. one target. Hit: 3 (1d4) Necrotic damage and an additional 8 (3d4) Force Damage.
Creatures hit by this attack must make a Constitution saving throw, DC 13. Creatures who fail this save are Corrupted for 1 minute, taking 3 (1d4) necrotic damage and 3 (1d4) Force damage at the start of each of their turns for the duration. Creatures affected by this Corruption may repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, removing the effect on a successful save.

Dark Light Beam. Ranged or Melee Spell Attack: +5 to hit, range: Melee (5 feet) or 150/600 ft, one target. Hit: 8 (1d8+3) piercing damage and an additional 5 (1d8) Force Damage.

The Umbral Hand have tried for hundreds of years to aid the Umbra, their saviors and companions, in attempts to cross the veil. The dimension of matter when coming in contact with the Umbra, and by extension, antimatter, has never been a fruitful endeavor though. The two cancel eachother out, resulting in localized destruction, every time. Or at least thats what was thought for a long time.

Umbral Vassals are humanoid like creatures created from the mixing of Umbra and Lux, Antimatter and matter respectively. Usually created by the umbral hand using rituals given to them by Umbral Envoys, as well as a living vessel, whether willing or not. They are typically bipedal, resembling an ambiguous human obscured in shade at all times. Some have wings on their backs that resemble a feathered bird, making them look similar to some angel variants, while others are more traditionally human shaped.
