Overview & Creation
Being born in Yal Mie-Lorvor and worshipping him henceforth, you gain abilities from Yal Mie-Lorvor himself as you grow stronger. As he is the God of War, his abilities are based around War.
Class Features
2nd Level
You have a sense for conflict. Once per day, you can use your action to sense for conflict or battle within 300 feet of you. When you do this, you learn the rough location of the conflict, but not who is involved, or the scale of it. You regain this ability after a short rest.
5th Level
You train your body to be efficient in battle. You gain proficiency with any two weapons of your choosing.
8th Level
You are always ready for battle. Once per day, you can add your Intelligence/Charisma modifier (you choose) to your initiative roll. In addition to this, if you roll a natural 1 or 2 on the d20 for your initiative roll, you can reroll it, and you must take the new number. You regain both abilities after a long rest. At 11th Level, you regain both abilities after a short rest.
11th Level
You are a master of strategy. Once per day, you may use your bonus action to activate on of the following effects;
- Battle Hardened: Roll a d6. Subtract this number off of any damage you receive until the start of your next turn. At 14th Level, roll an extra d6.
- Precision fighter: Choose one target. If you attack that target this turn, you do so with advantage.
- Battle Cry: You let out a loud battle cry. Roll a d4. Any allies that attack before the start of your next turn add this number onto their first attack roll.
You regain this ability after a long rest. At 14th Level, you can use this ability twice per long rest.
14th Level
Your experience in battle increase your ability to improvise your fighting. You gain proficiency with any armour and shields, if you are not already proficient with them. In addition to this, whenever you successfully make a weapon attack, roll a d6. On a 5, the attack deals extra damage equal to your Strength/Dexterity modifier (whichever is higher). On a 6, you gain an additional damage die (the same as your weapon's damage die) as well as your Strength/Dexterity modifier (whichever is higher).
17th Level
You are a leader in war, regardless of what your battle is. You gain a permanent +5 to your initiative (in addition to your 8th Level ability), and once per day during your first turn in combat, you may use your bonus action to inspire your team in combat. If you do this, you and all allies within 60 feet of you gain two inspiration dice (d6). They can only use these during combat, and if initiative ends and the dice are unspent, the players lose them. You regain this ability after a long rest.
20th Level
You and Yal Mie-Lorvor are one. All of your previous Pious Features no longer require any kind of rest, and thus have unlimited uses, with a 1 minute cooldown on each ability. Also, once per day, you can directly contact Yal Mie-Lorvor himself. If you are in Possession of Silumni's Pious Weapon, you gain full control over it.
