You've done it all; stolen priceless artifacts and relics, broken hearts, conned dragons. You might have embellished some of those stories, but it's all mostly true. And through it all you stayed one step ahead of the authorities and the consequences of your shenanigans. Everything was going great, until Suns-Set ruined all that.
Throughout your illustrious career you've learned when it's time to skip town, and it's about an hour past that time already. Calling in some favors and cashing in some assets, you learned about the Exodus Initiative and signed up. You weren't worried about what was on the other side of the portal, the real question was if Thora was ready for you.
The planar journey was more turbulent than anticipated and you stepped out feeling strange. Your armor feels unfamiliar, your blades no longer an extension of you, and your muscle memory fails you. You feel the same creeping unease that you felt before your first heist. Looks like you'll have to truly reestablish your legacy on this alien world or maybe this is a chance to turn over a new leaf.
