Benefits
As a standard action, a creature possessing this ability can unleash roiling waves of negative energy from themselves. Using the same radius as their Aura of Ill Fortune, creatures that start their turn within the aura are either healed or harmed by this negative energy. The energy deals 5 points of negative energy damage. Creatures that are damaged are afforded a Will Save (10 + 1/2 HD + Highest Mental Stat) to halve this damage. Maintaining this on subsequent turns requires a free action, and only requires mental input. A creature can maintain this aura for a number of rounds equal to 3 + Highest Mental Stat.
Special
This ability cannot initially be taken as a feat, and must be given through story beats. Once unlocked, this feat can be taken three more times at level 10, 15, and 20. Each time it is taken, increase the healing and damage of the energy by 5.
