It's a jointed wooden doll the size of a man. It doesn't have any facial features, but does possess fine articulation and fingers. Robes are draped over its frozen form.
Living mannequins are animated humanoid dolls made as simple and cheap servitors for aspiring mages. While not terribly strong, able, or durable living mannequins prove to be a good stand in for mundane or dangerous work normally performed by commoners. Living mannequins are carved from wood with an iron wire skeleton inside. They are man sized, no more than 6 ft tall, and weigh 40 lbs.
A living mannequin does not typically engage in combat unless attacked or ordered to. As warriors they are underwhelming, being proficient in nothing more than their slam attack and simple weapons, and do so devoid of tactics. However their hit points and hardness make them hardier than a commoner, and clever users have employed Mimicry to give them "tactics", albeit a pre-programmed set of tactics. Such "combat mannequins" keep to a strict program such as "charge, disarm, attack, trip, attack, repeat". Weapons that are effective against trees, such as many axes and fire, completely ignore the living mannequin's hardness.
