Adopted
Due to circumstances beyond your control, you were separated from your biological parents. This could have been from being stolen, lost and found, given up by your birth parents, or left behind by their untimely death. You may have lived a life on the streets before you were adopted. Perhaps you bounced around from orphanage to orphanage, or it could have been pure luck and the grace of some kind-hearted person who took you in. Ultimately you were adopted by parents of another race. Growing up, you were different from your folks and the society that you were raised in.
