Beardsbane started as a blunderbuss, was broken in half by a barbarian, it was then used as a flintlock pistol.. and further modified into a 6 shot revolver and enchanted with magic. Yet somehow this firearm tends to backfire or missfire more often then it fires cleanly (the wielder tends to roll 1s very very often.. it may be cursed..)
