Overview & Creation

You have been cursed to be the permanent vessel of a demonic spirit of greed. However, perhaps the ritual was interrupted halfway, or the caster got some of the materials wrong because instead of being trapped inside your body to watch the horrors it would commit you have held on to some semblance of control. You now share your body with said demonic spirit and if either of you are to survive you must work together. You now must periodically relinquish control to each other in order for you survive. Will you be able to resist the temptation of the beast? Or will you give in to its dark hunger?


Class Features

Transformation

Your curse requires you periodically release control to the beast. You now have the ability to transform into a large beast. Transforming costs 1 transformation point. When you transform you gain the following effects:
  • You gain a +1 to Strength, this turns into a +2 at 6th level, +3 and 10th level, and +4 at 16th level.
  • You gain Darkvision for 80ft. this extends to 100ft at 10th level, and 120ft at 20th level.
  • You gain resistance to cold damage.
  • You grow antlers that act as simple natural weapons.

Madness of the Beast

When you Transform you must make a Constitution save of 15-Class level or take 1d8 damage, if you fail your save 3 times in a row and you become feral and attack nearest person or if you make a critical fail.  

Actions

Beastly Antlers

In your normal form you have two small horns that grow into large antlers when you transform. In your transformed state, they act as natural weapons that do (2d6 +3) Piercing damage.  

Corpse Claws

In your transformed state, you have large claws that are as cold as a corpse. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: (1d8 +3) Slashing damage, and at 10th level add (4d6) Cold damage.  

Starving Teeth

In your Transformed state you grow large teeth that aid in the consuming of enemies. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: (1d8) piercing damage.  

Molding of the Curse

Starting at 2nd level you now gain proficiency to Perception checks in normal form and have Darkvision for 60ft  

Spirit Heritage

At 3rd level you discover your inhabiting spirit's heritage. Choose one Subclass.

Corpse Sense

Starting at 4th level you can you sense any Corpses or Undead within 60ft of you.  

Instinctual Transformation

Starting at 6th level At the start of combat, you may use 1d4 Transformation Points to let the beast take over (you do not have to make the saving throw on your first turn) and get a +1 to your Initiative. That increases by 1 at levels 9,12,16,20. You may also pay 2 Transformation Points for +1 to your Initiative  

Claw Fury

Starting at 10th Level, When you make a Claw attack you may spend 2 Transformation Points to make an extra claw attack, you may only use this once every turn.  

Hunger of Greed

Your hunger compels you to feast on your enemies. Starting at 11th level, when you reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Strength modifier + your Wendigo level (minimum of 1).  

Ever-Evolving Resistance

Starting at 12th level, you can choose one damage type when you finish a short or long rest. You gain resistance to that damage type until you choose a different one with this feature.    

Aura of Starvation

At 15th level, A creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of you must succeed on a (DC 10 + Your Constitution Modifier) Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed by gnawing cold and crippling hunger for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Aura of Starvation for the next 24 hours
