Special Attacks: Fling: As an attack action, a melting mantis that is grappling a Small or smaller creature can throw the creature 30 ft. away. The affected creature takes 3d6 damage, as if they had fell the same distance.   Corrosive Oozes: When a melting mantis is struck, it loses 12 mantis oozes, one on each square within 5 ft. of the creature. If there is a wall or barrier, any ooze that falls on these squares bounce off & back to the melting mantis.   If another creature occupies a space, the mantis ooze is considered difficult terrain, and the other creature suffers 1d6 acid damage at the start of their turn. If there is already a mantis ooze in a square, the previous mantis ooze sinks into the ground, and is replaced by the new ooze. The prior mantis ooze can not Regroup with the melting mantis.   Regroup: During combat, the hive always prefer being grouped together than separated. If there are any loose mantis oozes within 5 ft. of the melting mantis, they will try to regroup as soon as possible. Afterwards, the melting mantis instantly regains 10 HP.   Explosive Acid: Immediately after a melting mantis completely disperses, it unleashes an explosion of acidic ooze that floods it's 10 ft. area of reach, as well as the space it used to occupy. All creatures caught in this explosion must make a DC 21 Reflex save, or take 3d6 acid damage. The affected area is considered difficult terrain, and any creature within the area suffers 1d6 acid damage at the start of their turn.   Mantis Oozes: These oozy vermin are the hive that makes up a melting mantis, using their thick carapace for defence & attack, and their color for stealth. Despite that these Small, tough blobs look distinctly similar to oozes, they do have a basic & simple anatomy, and though they are a hive mind, they still have instincts to that of typical vermin.   Mantis oozes have sharp shells around them, but it only counts as defence. A single mantis ooze is unable to attack on their own. Similarly, while a group of oozes are able to enhance their vision, a single mantis ooze is blind. But if an ooze is separated from a melting mantis, it can aid it with blindsight & blindsense, giving the melting mantis immunity from flanking, unless all mantis oozes are also flanked.
