The creature eat electricity and was feeding from an old structure near the village. It was docile to training, but dangerous to surrounding, as it was strong.
Since the creature was eating the electricity of the stone, drawing it off was not a possibility, so it was killed as painlessly and quickly as we could manage.
 
Pictures of the red stones and structure attached, we have brought some back for examination.
We have brought an intact pillar, as well to examine.
