Description
The sudden and unexpected fracturing of the earth beneath one's feet is a frightening experience indeed, and one that a Topaz Magister can provide.

Spell-Weaving DCs: 22, Tier II: 27, Tier III: 32

Cracking and fracturing Domhan, shaping the flows below your target area appropriately, you rend open the earth and stone suddenly, a fissure rending open. This fracture is 50 feet deep, and targets in the affected area must attempt a Reflex Save. Should they fail, they plummet uncontrollably into the fissure, taking 3d6 thunder damage and all appropriate fall damage, and are prone. Should they succeed, they still plummet, taking the thunder damage, but manage to have something of a controlled descent, not landing prone and only taking half the appropriate fall damage. The walls of the fissure are sheer, unnaturally smooth, as if the stone was cut, not split naturally, so getting out will prove a great challenge.

Tier -1: Fail to cast, roll a Minor Miscast
Tier 0: Fail to cast.
Tier II: The path of the fissure does not need to be a straight line, you may have it make one turn of 90 degrees. Furthermore the fracture is now 75 feet deep.
Tier III: The path of the fissure can be even less of a perfect straight line, you may have it make a second turn of 90 degrees should you wish. Furthermore the fracture is now 100 feet deep.
